Personalize a Baby Quilt

Everybody loves a personalized baby quilt, but these days you don’t dare put a name on anything until the ink is dry on the birth certificate! We have a big and growing family and with my busy schedule I like to get projects done ahead of time. I developed this idea to save my own sanity!

Did you know that you can make and bind a quilt and then put it back on the longarm frame when you are ready to personalize it? Well, you can!

You can get the FREE pattern by clicking on the link.

Make the simple quilt (or two) and tuck it away until you need a quick gift. Then you can pin the finished quilt back onto the leaders. Make an Area of the empty space and add a name in one of the six ways I show. . . or make up a new way to personalize your quilt.

I recorded a video for Handi Quilter’s Watch and Learn series about 6 ways to personalize a baby quilt. The video airs TODAY at 12:00pm Mountain on Handi Quilter’s FaceBook channel. I will add a link below when it is available.
