I absolutely love doing projects that I can also use as gifts.

As a longarm quilter, I often have fabric left over on my machine and it bugs me to see it go to waste. This project only needs about 12″ of height so it can fit in some leftover spaces.
I designed the digital file to make this project with Pro-Stitcher Designer. It is SUCH a fun program to play with and I can design just about anything. I drew the daisy directly into the program using a Wacom pad and then I was able to edit and clean things up in PSD.
This project is made from the beautiful fabrics I received from Benartex of Rachel Rossi’s “Bee Haven” fabric line. Isn’t it pretty? I love the low value print that I used for the background of the cover. Love, love, LOVE IT! Of course that one little blip of purple is my absolute favorite. No surprise there.
The digital file and Instruction Sheet used to make this project are available in my shop for $9.97. It can be used by any quilting system- all the files are included. The instructions are geared toward Pro-Stitcher, but I think most competent longarmers with a computerized system will be able to make it work in their system.
I also made a video of the stitch out for those of you who would much rather watch a video. Trust me, I get it!
