French Press

This month’s FREE block is of a French Press. Our theme in Quilt Block Mania this month is “Drinks.” I really wasn’t sure how to make a can of Diet Coke (my drink of choice) and all the “easy” things were taken, so I went looking for ideas.

A French Press is a small coffee brewing device that is for connoisseurs of coffee. Apparently it can even make espresso? I have one recipe that needs a cup of espresso. . .

Anyway, here is the block. It is pretty straightforward and there are directions on cutting, making HSTs and assembling the block. I wonder what you will do with it? E-mail me at ohkayequilting@gmail.com. . . I want to see!

  1. oh but this is wonderful. thanks for this pattern. my husband soooo many years of drinking coffee can not drink it anymore. so now he drinks cacao from Crio Brew. they have many different flavors and he uses a French press many times.
